Trekking itineraries

  • Adventure of Dagala Thousand Lakes

    Starts near: Thimphu.  Number of trek days: 6 including a day exploring the lakes.  Level: moderate.  Seasons: April, September and October.

 

Starts from: Paro.  Number of trek days: 5.  Level: easy.  Seasons: March to May and September to December.

 

Starts from: Paro.  Number of trek days: 6 days.  Level: moderate.  Seasons: March to June and September to November.

 

Starts near: Bumthang.  Number of trek days: 8.  Level: moderate.  Seasons: March to April and September to November.

 

Starts from: Gangtey Gompa.  Number of trek days: 3.  Level: easy.  Seasons: March to May and September to November.

 

Starts near: Tashithang.  Number of trek days: 5.  Level: moderate.  Seasons: February to March and October to December.

 
  • Jomolhari Trek

    Starts near: Paro.  Number of days: 10.  Level: moderate.  Seasons: March to June and October to November.

 

Starts near: Paro.  Number of trek days: 15 (including two rest days).  Level: difficult.  Seasons: April to June and mid-September to mid-November.

 

Starts at: Tashithang.  Number of trek days: 19 including 2 rest days.  Level: very difficult.  Seasons: September to October.  This trek is commonly known as the hardest trek in the Himalayas.  It goes into an extremely remote region of Bhutan with several high mountain passes to scale.  As a result of its remoteness and level of difficulty, a minimum of four people is required for us to run this trek.

 
  • Punakha Winter Trek

    Starts near: Thimphu.  Number of trek days: 6.  Level: easy.  Seasons: March to May and September to December.

 

Starts near: Bumthang.  Number of trek days: 10.  Level: difficult.  Seasons: October, early November and late spring.  This trek is tough, crossing the top of eastern Bhutan and involving a long, steep ascent and descent.

 
Starts near: Punakha.  Number of trek days: 4.  Level: easy.  Seasons: January to June and October to December.
