| Baggage allowance | ||
Passengers in Executive Class (J class) are entitled to a maximum of 30 kg, and those in Economy Class (Y class) are entitled to a maximum of 20 kg. |

| Customs | ||
All Druk Air passengers will be required to fill in a customs form to be handed over to custom officers upon arrival. Passengers are asked to declare electronic items such as still photography cameras, video cameras, computers and other personal electronic equipment on arrival, and these items are usually checked upon departure. Blue Poppy Tours and Treks will be available to assist you on arrival with any problems you may encounter in clearing customs. |

The export and import of religious artefacts and antiques, and plants or animal products, especially those of endangered species, is strictly prohibited. Import and export of arms, ammunitions, explosives and other military stores are not allowed, nor are narcotics, or drugs unless they are medically prescribed. |

We suggest you consult us if purchasing old and used items in Bhutan, since custom rules do not allow these to be taken out of the country if they have not been certified as non-antique goods. Imports of plants, soils, etc., are subject to quarantine regulations, and must be cleared on arrival. |

Note that smoking is banned in public places in Bhutan, and that the import of tobacco items for sale in Bhutan is illegal. 100% tax is levied on tobacco brought in for personal use. There is a limit of 400 cigarettes and 150 grams of pipe tobacco. |
